With the group BTS (BTS) topping the U.S. Billboard's main singles chart "Hot 100" for the first time as a Korean singer, Chinese fans will fly barges off Haeundae Beach in Busan to celebrate member Jungkook's birthday.
According to Haeundae-gu, Busan on the 1st, Chinese fans of Jungkook will hold a huge fireworks birthday event in waters off Haeundae for about 10 minutes from 7:30 p.m. to celebrate Jungkook's birthday (September 1).
Currently, a company preparing for fireworks is preparing for production by folding pants and installing gunpowder around Dongbaek Island.
Although the second phase of the social distance administration order has been issued in Busan, the district has given permission considering that all fireworks are conducted online only, and that there are no offline fan meetings or Chinese fans entering the country. The video will be released on YouTube and other sites.
Earlier, Chinese fans of Jungkook posted a rap advertisement celebrating Jungkook's birthday on a 20-car KTX train.
Meanwhile, Billboard said Monday that BTS's "Dynamite" debuted at No. 1 in the Hot 100. Hot 100 is a chart that aggregates the most popular songs in the U.S. every week, combining streaming performance, music sales and the number of radio broadcasts. Singer Psy has ranked second in Billboard Hot 100 with "Gangnam Style," but BTS is the first to top the list.
