The group BTS (BTS) recorded its first 1.2 billion views on YouTube with its "DNA" music video.
Big Hit Entertainment, its agency, said on the same day that the number of YouTube views for BTS's "DNA" music video exceeded 1.2 billion at 3:13 a.m. on the 11th.
"DNA" is the title track of the BTS mini-album "LOVE YOURSELF £ HER" released in September 2017.
The music video expressed the lyrics of finding a fateful opponent engraved in DNA with scene transitions and colorful colors that seem to cross between virtual reality and space.
The music video surpassed 1.1 billion views in October, following the first BTS music video in June last year. It also recorded 1.2 billion views in just four months.
"DNA" was the first BTS song to reach the U.S. Billboard's main single "Hot 100".

BTS will release a new version of "Essential Edition" on Wednesday.
