BTS "Butter, Billboards No. 1 in Week 3…"Thanks to ARMY"
BTS's "Butter" topped the Billboard Singles Chart for three consecutive weeks. It is the first time that BTS's song has topped the chart for three consecutive weeks.

Last year, the first English song "Dynamite" topped the charts in the first and second weeks of its release, then fell to second place for two weeks, then topped the list again in the fifth week, ranking first in a total of three weeks. As a result, BTS topped the chart eight times with songs such as 'Life Goes On'.

BTS said on its official Twitter account, "Thank you so much ARMY for making an unbelievable milestone of topping the Billboard chart for three consecutive weeks." Member Suga said on the fan community platform Weverse, "It's all thanks to ARMY for being number one in three weeks..."I'm thrilled and thrilled."

Butter overwhelmed other songs in the number of downloads. According to Billboard, 138,400 music downloads and 15.4 million streaming times of "Butter" were recorded on the 4th and 10th. The tally also reflected sales of three remix versions of BTS's "Butter" from late last month to early this month. The remix version was sold at a discount of 69 cents.

U.S. pop star Olivia Rodrigo's "Good 4u" ranked second for three consecutive weeks behind BTS, far ahead of "Butter" with 42.1 million streaming times, but only one-twelfth of "Butter" with 11,100 downloads.

BTS's performance marked the eighth anniversary of his debut (13th of this month). Big Hit Music, the agency, announced on the 15th that 1.33 million people watched the fan meeting "BTS 2021 MUSTER Mikrokosmos" held on online streaming on the 13th and 14th.

Big Hit Music will also release a real single CD containing "Butter" on April 9. It is also the day when the fandom name "ARMY" was named.
