BTS, the 199th Billboard Social50 No. 1 [official]

Top idol group BTS (BTS, RM Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, Suga, V, Jungkook) has achieved its 199th top spot on the Billboard Social 50 chart.

According to Billboard's latest chart on the 6th (local time), BTS topped the Billboard Social 50 chart on October 10, 2020. This marks BTS's 199th career number on the chart.

Billboard Social 50 chart is a chart that quantifies the popularity of artists based on social networking sites around the world. BTS's current record continues to top the list, with a new weekly record for the longest period.

BTS first entered the Billboard Social 50 chart on October 29, 2016, and topped the Billboard Social 50 chart on July 29, 2017. Along with the 199th career No. 1 ranking on the Billboard Social 50 chart, BTS also continued its career record of 208 weeks.

BTS has been at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart for six weeks with its single "Dynamite" released on August 21, and MAP OF THE SOUL:7, which was released in February, has remained on the chart for 32 weeks without falling below the 100th place on the Billboard 200 chart.

"Dinermite" ranked second on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week, down one notch from the previous week's No. 1 spot, while MAP OF THE SOUL:7 ranked 70th on the Billboard 200 chart this week, down five notches from the previous week's No. 65 spot.

Meanwhile, Black Pink ranked second on the Billboard Social 50 chart this week, followed by strong performances on the social 50 charts of K-pop singers, with NCT at third place, EXO member Baekhyun at third, Treasure 5 at fifth, THE BOYZ at seventh, Stray Kids at ninth and Seventeen at tenth place.
