According to Big Hit Entertainment on the 4th, the music video for "Boy With Luv" surpassed 800 million views on YouTube at 5:30 a.m. on the same day.
"Boy With Luv" is the title track of BTS' album "Map of the Soul: Persona," released in April last year, and is a song about the joy of small and simple love.
Pop star Halsey made headlines for participating in the featuring and appearing in the music video. At last year's Billboard Music Awards, Halsey also took the stage with BTS.
The music video for 'Boy With Luv' was a homage to the classic film 'Love in the Rain.' In particular, BTS' group dance with dozens of dancers stands out at the end.
Shortly after its release, the song entered No. 8 on the U.S. Billboard's main single chart "Hot 100," setting BTS' own record at the time, and putting its name on the chart for eight weeks.
Meanwhile, BTS has a total of 23 billion-view music videos.
