Pre-orders for the group's new album "Map of the Soul: 7" surpassed 3.42 million, the highest pre-orders ever.
According to Dreamers Company, the distributor of BTS' album, BTS surpassed 3.42 million preorders for its fourth full-length album "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7" for seven days from the 9th to the 15th. This is the number of pre-orders from Dreamers Company at home and abroad, and the largest number of pre-orders in BTS' album history.
Earlier, BTS proved its hot popularity at home and abroad, recording 2.68 million preorders with its "Map of the Soul: Persona" album released in 2019. With the new album "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7," it has sold more than 700,000 copies compared to the last album, breaking the record for all-time pre-orders.
BTS is offering overseas preorders not only in Korea but also through Amazon, the largest online e-commerce company in the United States. Since the first day of preorder sales, the company has been ranked No. 1 in the CDS & Vinyl category until today (16th), the eighth day since it became the company has been ranked No. 1 in the CDS & Vinyl category.
Meanwhile, BTS will present its pre-released song and art film together on January 17 before releasing its fourth full-length album "MAP OF THE SOUL: 7" in February.
